I Had a Dance with Money

October 22nd, 2007 · 2 Comments

I have just fixed up my PDA expenses and assets tracking software recently again, which help me to keep track all my expenses, income, assets and liabilities, basically this is my personal financial position thermometer. I used to do this for the past 3 years, until last November, when I was so tied up with my little baby girl.

Money

I started this after learned from the book Rich Dad Poor Dad. For the past three years, this little software has help me in many ways, it basically tracked all my expenses and income during the months, and provide a summary of financial position during the year. It also keep track of my assets and liabilities. In summary, it give me a better understanding how I spent my money and what is my financial position at any one point More importantly, I am more aware of where I spent my money, I am in fact now in a better position to avoid the same mistake I had made previously.

So do you all know what would it take to achieve financial stability and sufficiency in our life?

Look honestly at our life. How could we achieve financial stability and sufficiency? Do we need more income or need to trim back our lifestyle? Or achieve this by refusing to purchase on credit? What can we do now that would move ourselves one step closer to having control over the money in your life?

Tejvan Pettinger in his article posted in PickTheBrain said it right, our personal finance habits have an enormous impact on our financial well being. Unfortunately, all too many people fall victim to the same common money mistakes.

I found my answers to the relationship with money, and do you?

“We can respond creatively to what we experience as life-depriving and become richer in spirit for having met the challenge.”
